do you think kon as a clone would get some kind of complex about his lack of parents, like not even having distant biological parents or dead parents or anything, it's just nothing. would he try to fill that hole in his identity by fucking men and women older than him and calling them mom and dad during it. perhaps fucking lois and quietly (perhaps hoping she won't hear him) calling her mom whilst inside her, not because she's his mom or because he thinks of her as his mom, but because he feels so lonely not having anyone to call mom, and lois is here, she's soft and warm, and kon thinks that's probably what moms are supposed to feel like.
nonny you are speaking my exact language!!!! YES I DO THINK SO!!!!
in fact, it is my ardently held interpretation that kon not only would have some kind of complex about his lack of parents, but absolutely canonically does. granted, a lot of the textual evidence from that comes from him cracking jokes about it (the famous "mama said pulling hair an' hitting girls was a big no-no — but mama was a test tube...as you can see, i have issues." from sb94 #84). but as we know, kon is notorious for making the flavour of joke that is pretty transparently a vulnerable cry for help to anyone even halfway paying attention.
which is to say, as far as i'm concerned, you're dead right. both about him having this complex in the first place and the utterly scrumptious concept of him seeking out older romantic/sexual partners in a desperate search to fulfil emotional needs that would ordinarily be met by a parent. but, importantly, his awareness that that's what he's doing would be (in my opinion) be two-fold; kon is great at being loosely cognizant of his own issues, and then in the very same breath repressing the hell out of them (hence: jokes). within his own mind, he wouldn't be thinking "man, i could just kick rocks about how i don't have a mom or dad. and indeed how there's no neat label for the way in which i'm related to anyone in my family and it makes me feel perpetually a little isolated through no fault of anyone's" like he's not that aware.
but he is precisely in the sweet spot to do exactly as you say, and oh my stars the way you've phrased it — not because she's his mom or because he thinks of her as his mom, but because he feels so lonely not having anyone to call mom, and lois is here, she's soft and warm, and kon thinks that's probably what moms are supposed to feel like — is so BRILLIANT OUGHHH!!!! i can't even add anything to that other than how incredibly much i love it. *chef's kiss*
(now you've got me thinking more about that scenario where clark never comes back from the dead, and the glorious codependent fucked-up "we're just trying to get by in this world without superman" relationship kon and lois could've had...)
