After playing Terezi's route, Pesterquest has me wanting the Twelve Trolls (and maybe humans) starting a revolt in this new timeline and seeing it through to the end. I wanna see some Revolution
Drawtober Day 4 - godtier!!!
This particular character is one who doesn't show up for a while in my intended storyline. I also try to keep their involvement a little under wraps, so this is my first time posting them here.... they're pretty crucial to the later part of the story so I figured I'd put them here! (Ft. Their rad dangerous Land in the bg...)
Prince and Werewolf

The rational part of me says that, in an Alphaswap AU, Kankri on Alternia would have at least a somewhat different attitude due to his different upbringing and the harshness of growing up on Murder World the same way Karkat did in canon.
But the other part of me can't ignore how funny it would be to have canon Kankri refuse to trade in his pride for any amount of common sense, while his friends have to remind him that, no, you don't gotta be ashamed of your blood or anything but if you don't wear this thermal blanket the drones will shoot you on sight. Please wear something other than the bright red-and-black leggings. Why are you like this.
I dunno if Pesterquest plans to utilize June Egbert, but I do know that if its made the same way Friendsim was (in Renpy), then it's very easy to replace sprites and change a characters name. Just food for thought.
Okay so I just finished the Epilogue, and while I have a lot of conflicting thoughts about it, there is one part that comforts me, from the prologue of all parts.
The Epilogues are, for all intents and purposes, non-canon. Canon requires elements of Relevance, Essentiality (Is that even a word, Rose?), and Truth. Without going too far into spoiler-y territory, the Epilogue lacks several of these.
The Truth aspect is broken by the characterizations of certain characters, namely Jane of all people acting vastly different than how she was towards the end of Homestuck. While this could be attributed to us not knowing how we got from point A to point B, I think that it’s meant to help solidify the non-canon-ness of the Epilogue.
The factors of Relevance and Essentiality are questionable, as even Rose says that if an event lacks Truth, it doesn’t matter what Relevance or Essentiality they have. But even if it did, the Epilogue still lacks those two qualities.
The Epilogue has little Relevance to Homestuck’s story, since it only pertains to things we already knew about Lord English’s defeat. It also lacks Essentiality as, if I’m understanding the meaning of that right, it doesn’t put anything into perspective that we didn’t already know about the story. It had some great things in it definitely (looking at you, Roxy), but they didn’t advance our understanding of Homestuck itself.
I think the AO3 appearance on the Epilogue is, more than anything, meant to establish this. It reminds me of a fanfic, not necessarily in a bad way, just...It doesn’t feel like actual canon. So I personally approach the Epilogue itself and the information it presents with a grain of salt. Take what I like, discard what I don’t. Cause in the end, like a lot of Homestuck, I think you’re just supposed to decide for yourself what really matters or happened.
That’s my thoughts on it at least. I could certainly be wrong, but that’s just how I like to think about it, even if it was more than a bit confusing.
But than again, what about Homestuck isn’t confusing?
