World Cinema has always fascinated me and I will continue to fall for it in the years to come for sure. But there will always be a limit for that love and fascination, reasons being plane and simple. I've been fortunate enough to be part of a generation who had the privilege of growing up watching films, written and filmed by legendary people like the man at the centre of this picture. They've made me believe that Malayalam cinema had always been on par with world cinema and at times even better. Pictured here is #Lohithadas and some of the characters his pen gave birth to. He wrote films that were full of life and life alone. His screenplays showcased extraordinary moments of ordinary lives. The detailing and depth in his scripts were second to none. Realism was his medium of communication and his leading men were always people who had flaws and were helpless. And he made his characters and dialogues so life-like that the audience never had an option other than to feel through that helplessness. No one has ever written such great number of emotionally draining movies in Malayalam cinema. He teamed up with many legendary directors like #SibiMalayil, #Bharathan, #SathyanAnthikkad, #Joshiy and others to give films that'll be etched in our memories forever. His association with Sibi Malayil is what I believe to be the best ever writer-director combo in Indian Cinema coz they only gave great films, one after the other. And it was through his creations that we saw #Mammooty and #Mohanlal, two of the greatest actors ever to exist, giving their very best. His writing made them show emotions and expressions that we had always looked in awe and is still giving us fangasms. You were one of the greatest ever things that happened to #MalayalamCinema and I don't think we'll ever see a writer again who could think and pen like you. If I ever get hold of a time machine, one of the first things that I'd do will be to come to you and ask what were your thoughts when you gave birth to such great characters with that pen of yours. 10 years since you left that void which won't ever be replaced.
