I was working out details for a fic, right? And it comes to my attention:
The Viking Age ended in the 11th century. The late 10-1100's. So How To Train Your Dragon Happens sometime between 793 and 1100-ish at the LATEST.
Jack Frost is only 318 years old, so he was BORN in 1694. So he became 'Jack Frost' in 1712.
Jack lived in Colonial America. Hiccup lived WAY before and the closest any of the Vikings ever came to the colonies was in 986 when they founded Vinland in modern day Newfoundland, Canada. (And Vinland didn't last long.)
So, as much as I REALLY wanted this to work out, Hiccup was LONG grown and dead before Jack existed.
We'll just have to use loopholes then.
