Thinking about how my boy Logan is now 20 makes me really want to start looking at my novel draft and work on the second draft. He's not getting any younger and neither am I. I'm the only one who can tell his story. I made a promise to myself and to him.
Today my sweet boy Logan turns 20, and I cry bc I haven't thought out what he would be doing but he's probably in some technical university being amazing and inventing cool shit and saving the world one day at a time.....one day i will start revising ur story honey but in the meantime....happy birthday my sweet boy

So, for the rest of today (since yes, it’s Wednesday right now at 2AM), I’ll have an Ask Me Anything regarding the story I finished, and the characters in it!!
Here’s the pretty much main cast:
My main sweet boi is Logan Trity! he’s 12 years old,
Then there’s his Aunt Jane and cousin Colin, who’s 6
Logan’s classmate and rival, Xavier Jacobs
The titular mysterious inventor, Nathaniel Alister
and Dr. Jeffrey, the school Superintendent
So! anyone can ask me anything about them, or the story (to an extent, I do want to publish this one day), all through today! Though to be honest, I’d always be happy for questions about my lovely children and not-children.

holy mother of FUCK I finished it.
I finished the full first draft of my dear sweet angel Logan’s story, The Mysterious Inventor of Timeless Lane. It’s in total 43, 045 words, and I wrote 37,155 of those words in this term alone. There are a lot of inconsistencies in tone and detail from the very beginning compared to the recent chapters, but I don’t care, it’s easily revised. I’m just. so fucking happy. SO FUCKING HAPPY, like? this is so much better than where it was when I first came up with the idea in high school, and I can actually feel a solid story behind it that can come out of this draft.
good lord. it doesn’t feel like I actually wrote this? lol- I feel like I haven’t done any work this whole semester, but here this is, staring me in the face. Completed. wow

i often forget that The Flash team (Barry + Cisco + Caitlin) is like, in their mid-20s
which makes it better imagining Logan meeting them bc he’d be!!! 14!! a smol bean enthusiastic about science and engineering and being really awestruck by S.T.A.R. Labs and Barry and Dr. Wells and Cisco + the stuff he can build (not to mention if he found out that Barry was The Flash and the existence of more meta-humans that would probably be a whole other can of worms opening)
and imagining my child among them is such a fun thought.
