These are some of my all-time favorite Jadekat fics, in no particular order, if you want to get your fix or want some good Jade characterization or want to understand why it's awesome, read this list. Ye.

Five First Kisses, asukaskerian. Dear gog in heaven. If you read nothing else, read this, because it's ridiculously good at both jadekat and quadrant explanations.

Jade Harley and the Rise of the Underworld, oxfordRoulette. This one gets a bit raunchy, but I do recommend this one because holy crap, what a good Jade. What. A good Jade. And beautiful writing, original mythos, just awesome stuff.

Both the Planets and the Fixed Stars, Amazing_E_ko. Renaissancestuck, basically, where Karkat is a knight and Jade is a lady and their love is so real someone hold me.

Sweet Morning, SnazzyCookies. Do you want morning-after Karkat being neurotic and worried and blissfully, stupidly happy? Of course you do. Read it.

An Overly Helpful Guide to Sleeping, ghosty. Collegestuck, in which Jade's apartment is broken somehow and her and Karkat share a dorm for the night.

Basorexia and Brontide, vesuviusPrivateer. This is one of those fics that haunts me. The title, the content--it all works together. Good fic. Very good fic.

Mathematically-and-Scientifically, Araine. In which Karkat loves Jade but she thinks he loves John and everyone is weird and confused.

it's Redglare's turn to take the kids trick-or-treating, and GHB tags along because he LOVES Halloween and also scaring the mess out of punks who might want to prank a group of twelve little kids is what he lives for

They bicker the entire time and somehow lose all the kids when they stop to detangle Kurloz' hair from a branch (because for Halloween he goes extra special on the hair volume but does not exactly watch where he's going when he's in mid-argument) and then they spend an hour being legitimately scared and stop fighting long enough to collect all the kids back up before they go inside ole Doc Scratch's house and are never seen again because haunted or some crap. Kurloz and Latula kind of look at each other and smile and that's as close to an apology as they're gonna get

The school sent out an email saying that they had the person who had posted the threat in custody, so that's something.

I feel like this is where we insert a WTNV quote about not being alone. I can't think of one at the moment.
