Yoinking this because I want to answer it and I want my friends ro answer it too ~

1. Age you started playing The Sims?

I have no idea. All I know is that I was really young and I started with the very first entry in the franchise on the family computer. Really, some of the gameplay have become core memories for me… and the sounds, like the flies BUZZING.

2. The first ever family you played?

Can’t remember it was too far back LOL

3. Favorite 3 expansion packs?

City Living because I love the world and features. If I could make every single one of my Sims live in San Myshuno, I would, even if it doesn’t match up with lore lol Businesses and Hobbies because running small businesses is actually really fun. And uhmmm… I’ve honestly been playing the game so long that all the packs and features beyond very specific ones have merged together in my mind, so I can’t think of a third. Maybe Cats and Dogs or Seasons since they’re things I can’t imagine playing without.

4. Thing you would like to be added to the game?

My wishlist is bands so Pippcrew can become canon to my gameplay, and I don’t just mean garage bands, I want a variety of different band types. I also want skateboarding, scooters … Mermaid’s are already a thing but they desperately need an overhaul. I also don’t think we need cars, but I would like for my Sims to have cars for story purposes.

5. Top 5 favorite worlds?

San Myshuno, Mt. Komorebi, Sulani, Windenburg, and Copperdale are my favorite worlds, but I think I like most worlds except the bare bones ones like the Vamp world, or the Werewolf world, and Newcrest.

6. Your 3 traits from The Sims?

Assuming you don’t mean my favorite traits, then Geek, Lazy, and Cringe. Or you could swap Cringe with Hot-Headed because I’m a certified crash out LOL

7. What would've been your toddler trait?

Fussy, probably

8. EXPOSE YOURSELF 🫵 How many hours?

I can’t check the actual amount of hours right now, but last time I looked it was over 4k hours. And that’s not counting all the hours I played without saving, especially after I joined the online Sims community and playing for hours without saving kinda became a routine in my non-main save files LOL

9. Last screenshot you took?

I took a screenshot of Lily and Luke’s dad Lochlainn visiting Uzuki’s cafe. He didn’t want to pay for entry and went home after serving face LOL

I don’t know if it was posted here already, but will put my take about Nol as it’s getting on my curiosity. I was rereading the earlier chapters and came across Nol/Yeong-gi’s grandma (or Nana, as he calls her). During the scene where Kousuke tries to pick Nol to “meet” with Shin-Ae (ep16), we see for the first time the grandma. She had the same eye colour as Nol so I’m going to rule out her as being simply a nanny, also Nana is a common term for grandmas for the Europeans. We can aslo notice how courteous Kousuke was for Mrs. Lochlainn, the Nana. Now, this name is quite Irish, I even spelt it wrong when I was looking it up (typed loghlann), if we note Nol’s appearance, green eyes + ginger head (more likely natural hair colour bc his eyebrows were of the same shade), it spells IRISH. I’m not sure if it was fan art or by quimchee herself, but I think there were posts of Nol also having freckles. Kousuke also teases Nol about tea and potatoes which are surefly a common item in the table for the Irish (also Europeans).

My guess on Nol’s biological mother is that (1) it’s not Yui Hirahara (Yuri, i forgot w/c one), (2) his mom is an Irishwoman and that the Nana is Nol’s maternal grandmother. (3) that she is likely dead prior to the story line in w/c after that Randulph had taken Nol in his home, and has, probably officially listed him under his family roster/as one of his children.. yes, I am alluding that Randulph most likely had an affair/cheated to Yui when Kousuke was younger....err if his currently 26, then when he was bout 7-8 yrs old. (4) or Nol’s biological mom was actually alive and was off to a different country or that they were forcefully separated by Yui/Randulph in exchange for Nol to be taken in the family, w/c would be traumatic for a young child. I posted bout this bit b4 on a panel about Nol’s allergic reaction to Yui/Yuri. ** tbh, this does not make sense if the nana was his maternal grandma bc if the purpose of the separation is to not be in contact anymore, then Nol’s living with his maternal granny, there surely will be contact between mother and son.

I also find it hard for Mrs. Lochlainn to be blood related to Randulph Hirahara  (to be his mom) considering that Kousuke never adresses him as his grandmother, say if they were really a Japanese Family, he’s more likely to call her the proper honorifics.

There’s also the name thing, his name was probably officially changed when Randulph had taken him in. His reason for not wanting to be called Nol anymore is bc it reminds him of his mother (separation event) let’s also just assume that his mom raised him alone (or with the grandma) in his earlier years and that Randulph was not aware of Nol’s existence until they (Nol’s mom) met again or that when she died and was contacted by Mrs. Lochlainn.

I am also assuming that Randulph is not an actual Hirahara, that he had taken the family name during marriage (he married to Yui’s family) as is common practice in Japan, especially in a Zaibatsu of little male family members/heirs.

SOooo there’s that.

Lochlainn tried to focus. He sat motionless with his legs crossed and his eyes closed. The whispers of the woods begged him to change. He had met wolves, usually bitten later in life and lacking control over their new form, that couldn’t change at times. They lacked the focus, they were subconsciously afraid of the pain, or they were just afraid to lose control. Lochlainn had always felt more at home in his true form. His skin would melt away and so would all of the troubles brought on by human flesh. Everything was simple and came naturally to him. 

Now he felt hollow. The connection he felt with the wild inside was but an echo of a memory. He clenched his teeth as he heard someone walking up behind him. If he weren’t so god damned blocked he would have heard them coming long before they were able to sneak up on him. In a sweeping motion he lifted himself and spun on his heel to launch at the intruder. 

"You can trust me."  "Then, trust me. Really." "If you set your trust in me."  "I trust you with my everything." "You'll just have to trust me."

Trust was such a strong word. Genovelin laid in silence, her body hidden under the blankets that covered her bed. The bed she was to share with her husband. The light of morning was beginning to force its way through the blankets, but the darkness and solitude was still enough to trick her body into continuing its pulsing green glow. Gleaming eyes stare intently at a pair of rings on her left hand that glinted in the dull light sources. A blackened thumb brushes against the rose carvings, the twisted vine they were nestled against..it then brushed against a matching ring, though this one was carved with thorns instead of roses. It was too big for her ring finger, but she managed to keep it on with the other ring. She frowned, bringing the rings to her lips and closing her eyes. For several moments, in the silence of her bed chamber, there is an overwhelming sorrow in her empathy. It burned like ice, like frostbite, like death. Her body shuddered, she curled up on her side with her arms coming up over her head as if to shield herself away from the world. Her breath quickened, she very nearly hyperventilated, but after minutes of struggle she won out. She calmed, she relaxed.

Trust me, he said.

She trusted him..had he not trusted her? She had told him he could...

They had promised no secrets. That was something they agreed. They were bonded eternally, they trusted each other, there would be no secrets. She kept none from him.

Why did he keep them from her?

Did he think she would react poorly?

Did he not trust her?

With a heavy sigh she sat up in bed, her glow fading and her eyes squinting against the sunlight filling the room. A glare was cast toward the window, her head shaking.  "You are as infuriating as him," she muttered just as a knock came to the door. A reminder she was not alone in the home.

"It still hurts so much, Wahid. How long is it going to hurt?" "Forever, it never really fades. That loss. But, it's up to you if it strengthens your resolve or leaves you a shadow of who you once were." "How did you do it..?" "I am still grieving. But, I remember them. I recall the best of times. I bask in the warmest memories. They took a piece of me with them. But, I carry on because I must. I must be the person they loved, even in their absence."

"You can call me a nickname if you'd like, or I can give you my name." "Lavender." "Lavender? Why that?" "You smell good. That, or Lilac. "  "I smell like roses!"     "Hey, it's my nickname. I could call you Rafflesia instead." "You wouldn't dare!"

"Will you watch the stars with me? " "I will."

"Could I someday be your queen? Your Goddess? You could become my King or my God, perhaps?" "You are my Goddess. I am your God."

"How was it? Dying?" "Dying? Ehn..I imagine actual death may be much more satisfying." "Forever...and always." The constant I love yous, the tender moments, watching the stars, being chased by him, laughing with him. Being in his arms. Looking into his eyes. Feeling him. His passion. His pain. His love. His lust. His power. His strength.

Genovelin now sat in a garden, her back pressed against the stone wall and her knees hugged to her chest. She gazed up at the sky, her head tipped back against the stone.

But, it's up to you if it strengthens your resolve or leaves you a shadow of who you once were.

She frowned, lowered her head, and looked to her surroundings. A shadow of who you once were.

"Act with magic. Act within reason. Act without mercy."

She would fix this. She had to. She had to fix this. She could fix this.

She was no longer in the garden, she was instead hidden among the trees of a forest. The dull heel of a tall boot settled around a branch, a hand curls around another branch to keep herself supported as she slowly contorted and shifted among the leaves. It was a slow descent from the branches toward the unsuspecting Sylvari below her, but without a cry of warning the woman suddenly dropped down upon the being, a dagger in hand that slammed down into their back as the pair dropped together to the ground. Terror filled the air, an empathy of fear and despair that danced and mingled with one of joy and excitement, an erratic buzzing of glee and malice, until the second empathy disappeared.
