We had been very fortunate with location options. To be honest, there were too many. Across the states and especially in the southeast there is an incredible amount of abandoned buildings, streets, houses, broken bridges, you name it. Not to mention shooting over winter when everything looks even more like death, really helps you paint the dystopian image.
