Fish cultivation take 3. The fish tank in our #aquaponics system currently consists of #tilapia, #catfish, #koi, and #goldfish. I haven't quite decided if raising edible fish is something I want to take on considering all of the challenges and $$ associated with it. However, the more I educate myself - the crisis in our oceans, the environmental impact of consuming #unsustainably-raised imported farmed fish, and the human rights violations including slavery associated with imported farmed fish - the clearer it is to me that it is a worthwhile challenge.
