I really enjoyed reading your post on Brooklyn, I went to see it last night and I was absolutely blown away by just how masterful the entire production was, and Saoirse was (of course) amazing. I'm sure you've read/watched all the publicity around the film where she talks about her much the role of Eilis means to her and how personal the film was for her, it really comes across in her performance. I'm going to have to see it again soon!
Thank you! Brooklyn was incredible in terms of production detail, directing, just everything. I could go on forever about the small nuances in Saoirseâs performance as Eilis that just blow me away. She really was incredibly well-suited to this role and it must have been incredibly personal for her given the  amount of pure hard work, passion and sheer energy sheâs put into Brooklyn, especially given some of the similarities between her experiences and Eilisâs story. Taking everything into account, itâs no surprise to me at all she doesnât want to see the film yet because as she said, it would be absolutely terrifying. Saoirseâs phenomenal acting and how brilliantly she discusses the filmâs production has been, as ever, really nice to see.
