Okay so today was the last day of my bornday week and I'm feeling a little better so obviously I treated myself to an 8 course feast at #bacchanalia prepared by my good homie & executive chef, @josephschafer - this perfectly poached #mainelobster with celery 3 ways was the main course but seriously every single bite of every course was outstanding. Since I moved to Atlanta in 2005, Bacchanalia has consistently been hailed as the premier restaurant in the A. My first time & it lived up to all the hype. I had Seattle Oysters, caviar w/ popcorn foam (!!), a luxurious crab fritter, multiple cheese courses, freshly baked breads (multiple breads, Fam!) & tartines with just-churned butter, decadent desserts, a glass of Barolo amongst other libations & I was even wearing a Brooks Brothers Club Blazer I found at Army/Navy for $8 so I kinda fit in. Seriously one of the best meals of my life and y'all know I done had some meals now! Basically, this meal paired perfectly with my mortgage. #dillonatethat #clawsup #lobmob (at Bacchanalia)
