This month has been a combination of steamy hot weather and severe downpour. So I've been going for more natural makeup and keeping my hair moisturized so it doesn't dry up or die in the heat using Ovation Color Treatment. I also decided I wanted to have a bit of a tan, to accomplish this I've been using TanTowels which I got in GlossyBox for the month, and I will be purchasing this so I can keep the subtle glow. To keep my lips moisturized I've been using Everything Balm by Cake Beauty before I've been applying ColourPop Ultra Satin finish almost every single day. And for my skin to keep it smooth and moisturized I've been reaching for Hey Honey 24Seven: Day & Night Revitalizing Cream.

In my favorites video, I completely forgot to mention that I have been obsessed with the sculpted nail wraps from Jamberry this month. I've been wearing mine for well over two weeks and they still look great. Granted you can see that my nails have grown a bit since I first applied these on the tenth.

The only thing I haven't really been doing natural is hair length as I've been wearing my 20" Irresistible Me Silky Touch in clip hair extensions in ash blonde.

Two books I've been reading this month have been Brave Enough by Cheryl and Grace & Style by Grace Helbig. Brave Enough is filled with uplifting and encouraging quotes. While Grace & Style is filled with humor, beauty, and fashion. The perfect combination.

I decided this month I'm going to switch from doing monthly favorites to monthly loves & loathes because there are both in every month. And many favorites came out of things I didn't enjoy. This month seemed to take forever, maybe that's just because my eye has been on my nerve on month long. And is the top loathe of the month with the requirement of having to wear glasses that I cannot get used to. The only other thing that I loathed this month was the Biore Charcoal Deep Cleansing Face Wash as I had a severe allergic reaction that was only cured by my favorite primer at the moment: Este Belle Aloe-vera Moisturizing gel.

On to the products that I loved this month or found myself grabbing for every day.

Beauty

I am a major lip gloss fan this month, which is odd because I have not been into lip glosses since I was in Junior High. But this month, I have been head over heels for them. That and the color pink for my lips. There have been three different ones I have been going for: Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipstick in the shades "Devotion" or "Flirtation", Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in the shade "I Found Nemo", and L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Gloss in the shade "Bare Attraction".

Since Minnesota basically decided to be winter again after warming up, I have been craving baths more often to relax. And I love a good bath bomb, so the one I found to be my favorite to use this month was Lush Yoga Bomb. Which is orange on the outside with pink and green on the inside. I love the sandalwood smell it has. Plus the bath is all glittery afterwards.

For my primer this month, I've been loving Benefit Porefesstional primer I got in my GlossyBox monthly subscription. It's so soft and on days were I don't really need a lot of coverage I can just put this on. As it's slightly tinted.

Clothing

At the beginning of the month, I went to Mall of America with two of my best friends: Ariel and Kiki. While we there I picked up this sweaters at Charlotte Russe, which have been my favorite as it says: "Cupcakes, Champagne, and Dreams". Mainly because of the face it involves cupcakes. The other is "A yawn is a silent scream for coffee". I wear this generally on the weekends or when I want to be comfy after work.

Nails

I don't miss putting nail polish on every four to five days since I started using Jamberry. This month, my favorite wrap by far has to be the Color of the Year wraps: Serenity. I used Sculpted in Serenity and Serenity Ombre to create this look. My other favorite is Sapphire Sea from the Disney Collection by Jamberry. Which is a collaborated wrap of Disney's The Little Mermaid and Jamberry.

Drink

Almost everyday I had the same drink at the office while I am working on solving various issues people have with imaging or their clinical applications is Arizona Arnold Palmer Lite Half Ice Tea and Half Lemonade. And the fact that I can get two tall cans of it downstairs from my office for not even a dollar just leads to me drinking a lot of it.

Songs

The songs I've had on repeat this month are: "Stressed Out" by Twenty One Pilots, "Miss Missing You" by Fall Out Boy, and "Love Yourself" by Justin Bieber. What is with Justin's new CD, I love every song that comes on the top 40s radio and I never once cared for his music in the past?
