rereading LN10 (in the official English sadly, but i do want to check out the Japanese...) I am really loving Tianyuu in these early chapters but I also love him always so... but there is one thing that really caught my attention
Tianyuu is presumably not that well traveled, why would he be? there is the area he grew up and the capital and as far as we know those are really the only places he has been until now. Before the start of the story, Maomao had only ever been in the capital, after, she has been taken up far north and west, but none of the experiences she has had because of her involvement with Jinshi and Shisui taught her what a chapel is.
this is a much more western religious building, and if she learnt of it from Luomen then where did Tinayuu if not Liu?
i love Luomen and Liu as foils and the way that their differences affect Maomao and Tianyuu who are foils also. Maomao and Tianyuu contrast each other more often than not and to see them get a cute moment of similarity here is very fun.
