I made more art for the same unannounced Lancer homebrew as the HA Grant - this time, it's the IPS-N Bonney-Reed. A contractually-obligated mashup of the IPS-N Bonney and IPS-N Reed frames, the Bonney-Reed is the worst of both worlds, and its creators don't seek to change that. However, some pilots use its unusual strengths to their advantage in the far-flung reaches of space, where the rules aren't quite the same as everywhere else.

The Horus Sphynx, a Hydra alt frame from my and @citrusuprising's upcoming Lancer homebrew. A versatile Controller able to chain its seeing-eye drones around corners and over distance, the Sphynx knows all and delights in confusing or locking out the sorry fools under its gaze.
The Horus Banshee, a a nexus-focused artillery mech from @citrusuprising and my custom Lancer homebrew. The Banshee can hack to reload, and terrifies its foes by stubbornly refusing to die.
The HA Atilla, from @citrusuprising and my Lancer homebrew. A Controller/Striker Iskander alt frame, the Atilla contains internal gravity tech that enables it to "fall forwards" across the battlefield, forcing foes to dodge out of its way or suffer the force of its gravitic kick.
The IPS-N Yŏhae, from @citrusuprising and my Lancer homebrew (to be released soonish). A Defender/Striker alternate frame for the Drake license, the Yŏhae can lock its stabilizers into the ground for a boost of armor and damage. The Yŏhae is the thing you send in when all hope is lost- it takes hits and it gets the job done.

I made some art for the HA Grant, for a heretofore unannounced Lancer homebrew being developed by some friends. The Grant is all about placing dangerous terrain around the battlefield, and burning anyone who dares get too close. He is kinda a bad guy but also kinda just a dopey little dude. I love him.
The AIA Ephemeroptera "The Candle," from @citrusuprising and my homebrew "Portraits of a Burning World." Part art piece, part mechanized chassis, this Controller/Defender dominates sightlines and demands focus. Actually... Why don't I share the mech's whole description with you this time?
"Ephemeroptera, or All Eyes On My Pyre" (usually called "The Candle" by pilots) is a garish chassis that demands attention. Much like its Mayfly namesake, the Ephemeroptera rarely survives for long. Stuck in a self-destructive loop, it desires to create but destroys itself in the process. The artist asks that you ask… is it worth it?
-Eiteru Shalda, Mechanized Chassis, 5010u
After the release of the Ex-Wife, the Apogee Institute of Art entered an 11 year hiatus. Eiteru Shalda, famous for loving the spotlight and controversy his pieces drew, retreated into his private life and uncharacteristically refused interviews or comment. When he (and the Institute) finally emerged again, it was to present the Ephemeroptera to a cautiously curious public. Upon its reveal, critics offered mixed (though generally positive) opinion, with noted art critic Edgar Yeager even calling it "a wonderful return to form for the long-absent artist."
Self-evidently, the Ephemeroptera uses its chassis to comment on focus, creation, and burnout. Its limbs are built with intentional breakpoints, its systems perpetually run hot, and in performances melting candle wax is slowly dripped down over the pilot inside. One may think that such an intentionally fragile design would have no use outside the art world - and yet, a small group of Lancers have found a way. The Candle is a chassis that demands attention, they say, and that attention can be harnessed to our ends.
More of my art for @citrusuprising's and my homebrew - this time, the IPS-N Worden. The Worden is an artillery frame all about rapidly ascending to rain shots down on now-unprotected enemies. It's a very versatile mech with many systems and weapons that reward thoughtful positioning. In the words of the frame description text: "Before you even know it's there, it sees you. And if it sees you, you're dead."
Keep an eye out for Portraits of a Burning World, coming very soon!
