UNDER THE SURFACE is a continuation of last year’s album cover art exhibition held at the @lahoremusicmeet titled Music to my Eyes. This year the exhibit focussed specifically on the independant music scene of Pakistan between the years of 1960-1979 and 2005-2017. These time periods saw a flurry of activity and experimentation in the independant scene leading to ground breaking music production and a wave of bold and original musicians and bands taking to stage.
