I’m fine (relatively speaking). I’ve had them before, but not recently and not this severe, and I had a friend swing by on her way home from work this afternoon “to make sure you’re not dead.” ;D
They’re scary because we don’t talk about them much and it’s hard to recognize what’s happening (if it had been on the opposite side I would have sworn it was appendicitis), but I am curious now. I’ve noticed twice now that when they’re coming on, when the pain is still at “mild discomfort that could be digestive” and not “oh god I’m dying,” I suddenly get really cold. Like, I will never be warm again, nope, heating pads under blankets aren’t doing it, have to jump into a hot bath for half an hour. Last time it was in February in a house without decent insulation or heat so I didn’t think about it much, but for it to happen in June is just weird, and it’s not on the list of symptoms in any resource I can find. I’m wondering if anyone else who gets hemorrhagic cysts has ever noticed anything like that.

For me personally, after sitting 3h 21minutes for the not very good Peter Jackson King Kong. Anything under that that's actually a good movie is a breeze for me. But I do also know that long movies that require someone to be still or remain in their seat for hours can be super taxing and stressful for some folks. So on that end of it, I would certainly hope that lengths like the 2005 King Kong I mentioned are very very rare.
i also know lord of the rings is ridiculously long (return of the king is like 4 hours i believe) and that just. blows my mind. i couldnt sit for that long without going stir crazy!
the only exceptions i can think of are the harry potter movies because theyre an old fave from a time where i wasn’t so restless and unfocused lmao

And WOW. Â The poor guy is out for a month, total, and his wife is already banging his ex-partner?!
Though I suppose if you think about it, they could have only believed he was dead for about a week at most. Â It looked like Rick had an IV when he woke up, so that would stave off dehydration for a while, but eventually that would run out.
That's a little quick to be as cozy as Lori and Shane were. Â Though if the coma were like a year or something before that, it might be a bit more understandable.
But honestly, if I were Rick, I'd be looking at the Zombie Apocalypse as a good excuse for an informal divorce.
