Omgosh! Are you okay? That sounds horrible!
I’m fine (relatively speaking). I’ve had them before, but not recently and not this severe, and I had a friend swing by on her way home from work this afternoon “to make sure you’re not dead.” ;D
They’re scary because we don’t talk about them much and it’s hard to recognize what’s happening (if it had been on the opposite side I would have sworn it was appendicitis), but I am curious now. I’ve noticed twice now that when they’re coming on, when the pain is still at “mild discomfort that could be digestive” and not “oh god I’m dying,” I suddenly get really cold. Like, I will never be warm again, nope, heating pads under blankets aren’t doing it, have to jump into a hot bath for half an hour. Last time it was in February in a house without decent insulation or heat so I didn’t think about it much, but for it to happen in June is just weird, and it’s not on the list of symptoms in any resource I can find. I’m wondering if anyone else who gets hemorrhagic cysts has ever noticed anything like that.

Oh dear, LOL, that’s kind of hard to pick for me! I divide characters by source material in my mind, like I’ll have one fave in the movies and a different fave in the books.
Movies: Captain Needa or Admiral Piett. Needa’s pretty decent since he dies to protect his crew (and I’m partial to the actor who played a great recurring villain in a medieval murder mystery series Cadfael). Piett is hard not to like just because he’s so stiffly worried all the time.
Cartoons: Baron Rudor (Oh, why did they never do any more episodes with him?), Commandant Aresko and Minister Tua. Love me some low tier losers.
Books: Grand Admiral Sloane and Ciena Ree. And bizarrely enough, Admiral Rax.
(I also love Bodhi Rook and Zare Leonis, but I don’t think they really count since they’re actually rebels?)
EDIT: My fave imperial is generally whoever is being the most pathetic at the moment I’m immersed in whatever star warsy narrative I’m following.
