Happy Birthday, Ami!
It’s after midnight in the UK so I can now accurately wish one of my dearest friends the happiest of birthdays!
My friends know that I love to gush and when it comes to Ami, I really can’t help myself. I’ve been blessed to call Ami my friend for several years now and every day I’m more thankful that the universe made our paths cross. I have honestly never met someone with as beautiful a heart and soul as her.
Ami, you deserve so much more than one day a year to celebrate you and how fantabulous you are. You are an incredible friend, someone I can trust implicitly and who has been there for me through thick and thin these last few years. You are so much fun, so witty, wise beyond your years, and have the most generous, caring heart of anyone I’ve ever met. There is nothing you wouldn’t do to help someone you care about if you’re able to. You are talented in so many different ways and even though I’m older than you, I learn from you all the time. It’s no wonder I call you my Mama! The week we spent together at Misti with a bunch of our friends last year was so fantastic in part to being able to spend time with you. I remember beforehand saying that I was going to push everyone aside to get to hug you first, and irony of ironies, you were the last one I met! LOL I wish we didn’t live an ocean apart so I could spend more time with you and get those amazing Ami hugs all the time, but I love how no matter the distance we stay close friends and we can count on each other through so much. Remember, you’re the only one who could ever get me to read a Snape fic. *shudders*
I hope today is absolutely fantastic because you, my dear Mama, deserve only the best things in life. I hope you can see yourself the way I do, as absolutely gorgeous both inside and out. I am so very lucky to call you my friend. I love you to bits, Ami, Happy Birthday!
