So I was just finishing watching ep 2x6 Of Peaky Blinders and I got a little confused with the scene of May talking to Grace, Was she trying to prove something? What did you think she felt when she

(cont...) what did you think she felt when grace told her her name?

Also, do we still have hope in graces return?

Yeah, look, I think May was just curious. And perhaps keen to win a round of one-upmanship. Which she kind of did with her knowledge of the ‘other woman’ (although it’s pretty safe to say that it’s always the woman who is the second choice being aware of the other, while the reverse is untrue). But it was a hollow victory. Because when Grace said her name, May was confronted by the fact that the lover she thought was all business, was capable of deep and lasting affection (Grace’s Secret? Come ON). It must have stung a bit; hence the shrug of resignation.

No, I have no hopes of Grace’s return, and in fact think she will probably be less present in s6 than s5.
