17. When is the last time you ran? Haha, I haven’t ran since my freshman year in highschool, probably. I hate running.

24. Do you miss anyone right now? Course. I miss my moirail every day, and I miss my friends who aren’t able to see me right now. I know that one day we’ll be together, tho.

37. Do you have a tan? Well naturally, yes, as I am mexican. I don’t go out into the sun very often, tho.

I must have been through about a million girls.

So many lesbians do tend to have negative experiences with bi women. My first gf turned out to be bi (or maybe straight?) and she was pretty abusive. My current’s girlfriend first gf cheated on her, she was also bi and now married to a man. I also think this is why so many people, lesbians especially, are wary that bi women will “grow out of it”, it seems awful to say, but looking back on many the women who ID'ed as bi in high school and where they ended up? Straight married with kids.

I’m 100% certain that this is the result of homophobia and heteronormativity. Straight is the easy route, the safe route. Patriarchy makes sure it remains that way, as well.

Even lesbians will end same sex relationships and write them off as a fling and get straight married instead. That’s compulsory heterosexuality.

That is why heterosexual privilege is upheld--to bind women to men, and to distance women from other women. And that is why it’s important to say that bi women in straight relationships do have straight privilege. Not in order to blame bisexual women. Blame is not why I’m addressing this at all.

I’m saying all that so we can talk about what’s going on, how we’re manipulated into choosing the straight path.
