On Lucy’s letter to Mina, when she describes her marriage proposals from Quincey and John, I like to think that after Seward got rejected he sent a telegram or met up with Quincey. To let him know that Lucy rejected him and be like “alright it’s your turn, let’s see what her answer is for you.”
You know, since John proposed before lunch and Quincey went after lunch. Like I feel the time in between proposals was way to short to be a coincidence or for John and Quincey to not know each other.
I mean like it makes sense because Quincey sends a telegram to Arthur like the next day or something asking him to meet up w/ him and John to drown their sorrows, and congratulate Arthur for his happiness w/ marriage to Lucy, in drink.
