Taken whilst setting up for my gig with Taptonic at The Donkey a while back. You can just about see my Vic Firth Live Wire brushes - my favourite brushes in any situation. They come with tiny balls on the tips of the wires which gives them their unique sound and increased volume. When I got my first pair in 2009 after a couple of months all the balls broke off! I wrote to Vic Firth with this feedback and they replaced the brushes free of charge.
