When you are asked to speak to 49 females and 1 male, you say, "Yes!" I had an absolute blast speaking to the MPI Wisconsin Chapter Meeting Planners International about wellness. We learned NOT to be leaders who ask, "How can I get this person to do what I want them to do?" Instead, we learned how to be leaders who ask, "What am I doing to improve their quality of life at work so that they will want work hard on their own?" A nurturing environment doesn’t mean lowering standards. It’s about setting up conditions to allow everyone to be their best!
