Some brief housekeeping by the way

Thank you so very much everyone. It’s been a pleasure to host you through this year’s Juniorvision. Congratulations to the winning HoD (who I will not be tagging in case there is a delay between this being live and the HoD getting to see the show.

Wagga Wagga severely enjoyed your company, and we hope that Ukraine will be able to enjoy it the same way next year!

Thank you to everyone who participated, whether through televoting or jury voting! There may be some minor rule changes next year in order to smooth things out, keep your eyes out for polls for said rule changes. Winner’s perks are going to be on offer for the HoD of Ukraine, mostly the right to decide their country before sign-ups next year, but we’ll see in the meantime.

Otherwise, thank you to every person who submitted a song! you did amazingly <3 I’m sorry for keeping you on the edge there but... hey, the tension of voting is worth it. I hope you enjoyed both of the interval acts as well.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be at 16:00 CET on Sunday. You should watch it if possible, and there will be eyes out trying to find a solution to the geoblock.

In an ideal world the televote winner would get its own post. But we’re trying to create tension here...

The main question on the lips of everyone around is Ari, is this televote going to be enough to overtake the current winner on the scoreboard?

In keeping with the motto of start small and dream big, we’re going to look at which nations are left to receive televotes.

Ukraine, and Belarus.

These two nations, side-by-side could overtake Israel in the scoreboard, or they could not.

It all comes down to the amount of televoting points, and whether they’re enough to overtake the current winner, Israel. Let’s have another look at the scoreboard.
