Food of the Aliens
I’m making an early dinner for @scriptwitchcraft and me - london broil, parmesan asparagus, baked potato slices, and biscuits.
It occurred to me how important food is to the people and cultures of our species, and how the food of non-Terrestrial species is often ignored in most scifi. Star Trek: TNG does pretty good with the Klingon culture (gagh is always best when served live), but not much else.Â
Does food provide the sense of warmth and home and comfort to these species like it can to ours, or do they see food as just “fuel” to be consumed when needed?
I do have a copy of this book, and it’s awesome. I did have to settle for the Human edition, however.
