Eir had gotten up early in the morning as usual, the sun not yet risen in New Asgard as she hummed a soft tune and began her routine. She started to brew some tea, then she would water the planters in front of her clinic, feed her snake, and set up for the day's patients.
She was outside watering the flowers under one of the windowsills when she heard a familiar voice behind her. The healer turned and her eyes widened in shock, tears stinging at them as she saw Loki standing before her, she had thought him dead, mourned him for a third time, she felt so guilty for not being there to try to protect him, just as she failed to protect his mother so long ago.
"..are you.. real...?" She questions softly, unsure if this was some illusion or trick to mess with her, or perhaps she was still asleep and it was one of the rare times that she dreamt anything.
