The kids were so excited when we saw this toad! It's so dark. That's reassuring because my original toad painting for 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒏'𝒔 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 was bright and colorful for a toad, but the print came out much darker, and it looks a lot like this little hopper! °°Toad update°° The toads had a safe week of stable growing. They have been sun bathing a lot, relaxing on their leaves and plants and in the tank. They just love playing with the leaves. They arnt very fast yet, like the frogs, and their body has taken more of a pear shape. They are getting very round at the botton and slimmer around the mouth and eyes. They are doing so good. They are still very dark in color, while the frogs colors are changing a few shades.
