Check out these two cool new #amps I spotted #guitarshopping at @folkwaymusic this weekend. On the left is the @headstrong_amps #SC5, a #Champ-like single-ended 5 watt amp, but built into a larger cabinet with #reverb and a mid control (neither of which can be found on a Champ), and comes with an optional 8", 10" or 12" inch speaker. I have a '57 Champ and love it...But it sounds small. Especially at the low volumes I have to play it at in my home. And since getting my '59 #Princeton (which is also a Champ in a bigger box) I can't tell you what an advantage it is to have a lower wattage amp with a larger box and speaker. On the right is one of #Headstrong's most popular models, the #LittleKing Reverb which is a 25 watt AA1164 (blackface #Fender #PrincetonReverb) amp with reverb and #tremolo, and larger #transformers. I love these amps so much! Oh, and the new #National amps on top are nice too.
