I think we're finally starting to see some progress with Luka. The last 3 or 4 days he has spent most of the day out of the crate with no urine found anywhere it oughtn't be.
This evening he finally seems to have forgiven me and deigned to give me purr purr snuggles on the couch. The weight and warmth on my chest instantly knocked me out for an immediate impromptu nap.
OKAY I HAVE A QUESTION but I don't know if anyone will be able to answer... might as well try though...
My cat (he is now about 11 months old) has recently (in the past 1-2 months) started taking craps outside of his litterbox. Like... in the house, on the floor. He's done it maybe around 4-5 times now and it's getting really tiresome. Does anyone know what may be the reasons for this? He's used the litterbox just fine in the past (we got him 8 months ago), so I don't know what the problem is...
I Googled it and some possible reasons are that he doesn't like the litter, the food and water's too close to the litterbox, litter might be too deep or too shallow, etc. But I'm wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this.
