Looking cute one more time before I hit final essay/exam time. I am considering it my mourning for my mental health.

Honestly. It bothers me when people ask what I'm majoring in, and then give me that pitying look after I give an answer. "The look" is usually followed by the what-are-you-going-to-do-with-that conversation, which hardly appeases the questioner either. In this backwards, cesspool of an area, if you aren't going to school for nursing, or currently employed with a gas company, your life's ambitions are all but meaningless. My aspirations apparently warrant "the look" and a deprecating tone. Perhaps you shouldn't inquire if the answer may not meet your expectations.

Or Margaret Cavendish needs to stop using semicolons.  But the first is more likely.
