okay but London Boy is so much more than just like a fun song.....sheâs saying that she wants to not only be with Joe but also know everything about him and his childhood and his hometown. She wants to be immersed in his lifestyle. And though she makes it an upbeat, almost funny song, itâs actually very intimate. Sheâs asking him to show her his world and is embracing it
Please donât tag you post with Becho if youâre gonna be anti or whatever, or if youâre gonna be rude to those of us who actually like it.
Everyone has a different opinions. Please just be respectful - itâs what we all need.
I know itâs cringey nowadays to describe any significantly base-breaking/controversial character as âmisunderstoodâ
but like... sometimes those kinds of characters really do get grossly misinterpreted by fans who ignore (willfully or otherwise) their canon development and the context behind their actions, and instead choose to flanderize their worst traits and relentlessly hate on them For The Memes or whatever. which then spreads enough that it too often becomes the characterâs most notorious (if not their Only) place in the fandom as a whole
and that makes me sad sometimes
To the People upset/angry over Tom & Taylor,
I understand. I have always been a big fan of both of them, Tom a little more, and honestly, I was surprised, and a little heartbroken too. So you know what I did after? I went about my day. Think about it this way: If I went up to a random couple on the street and told them, "Hey, I'm mad that you're together because I think one of you is attractive," someone would call the police. The fact that we feel that we can do this to celebrities just because they're famous is mindboggling. They are real people, not your idea of what they are. Celebrities in our minds represent concepts or emotions for us, I totally get that. But you cannot control them. You can only control yourself and your actions. They are not yours. They are not the figurine or poster or even youtube interview you've seen of them. They are real. You are not entitled to anyone, famous or not. I like the work of both Tom and Taylor, and from what I've seen, they seem like people I would love to get to know. But that does not mean I have a say in their personal lives. Yes, I will be the first to admit that Tom is fine as hell, but that does not mean I can dictate who he gets to share parts of his life with. I don't know him. We are merely spectators in the lives of others, no matter how close we feel to them. The fact that we still feel as if we have a say in another person's life shows that we have not learned that people are not what we make them. Each of us are a universe unto ourselves, creators and destroyers of worlds only known in our minds. We try to shove people into boxes in which they cannot and will not be contained. So yes I understand your sadness/frustration/whatever, but at the end of the day, you better have lived you're own life instead of tryna control someone else's.

I find it interesting that they call the clone's on OB subjects. In scientific research the word subject usually refers to an animal (e.g rat, bird, cat) while the word participant is used to refers to a human involved in a study.
Humans (when they reach a certain age) are able to give consent. Animals can't. This whole experiment breaks the 1st and most important Ethical Guideline Law.
The clones had no say in the experiment. They were not given a list of possible risks of what they were getting themselves into. They are literally  being treated as if they were lab rats.
The thing i find the most unsettling is that after an experiment is finished subjects are "put down" since they have no further use to the experimenter. This is sort of what is happening to the clones with the whole infertility/immune disease stuff. The experimenters succeeded in creating human clones (their goal) and now that this has happened they are killing them off (pre planed of course).
If human cloning becomes a thing institutions will not in any way consider clones as being human beings. They will be treated no better than animals in research studies (and possible worse). If that doesn't give you an unsettling feeling, it should.
