LitGodzi Mothra keychain
Something I picked up in town today from a comic book shop. As a huge Mothra fan I was drawn to this thinking it was a pinbadge. It’s actually an enamel metal pub in a leather band and gold keychain.
This is a keychain related to the ‘LitGodzi’ range of Godzilla merch, which features the classic kaiju in a more ‘chibified’ form.
The info on the back reads:
LITGODZI
KAIZYU SERIES
©TOHO - TOHO EIGA
N.T & R.L
PRODUCED BY
© CONCORDE CORP LTD
Trying to find anything on this keychain, or almost anything about the LitGodzi series, from non Japanese websites is almost impossible. If anyone on Tumblr can give me ANY info about this piece I’d be fascinated to know more. I’ve found some pictures of this range of keychains in a similar style with other kaiju but have no idea if they’re valuable, rare or special in any way.
Either way it’s Mothra, and Mothra is queen ♥
Chibi Godzillas
I scanned the Chibi Godzilla designs I see most often in my collection and created this composite family photo. Which Chibi Godzilla is your favorite?
LITGODZI KAIZYU SERIES was a kid-friendly Godzilla merchandise line that included character banks, keychains, pens, ornaments, and more. It centers around Little Godzilla (litgodzi is a combo of “little” and “Godzilla”), and even the most vicious kaiju seem huggable in this line. This art gives us a look at characters who didn’t make it to a lot of merch, such as Biollante and Battra!
