Little, I do but little, I donât,
Like the black sky of the night rippled with studs of stars
Scintillates this place of stillness & forlorn.
Behind this ravenous scenery I do see, it reminds me,
The black eyes of a guy behind the bars,
A lovelorn criminal shot by Erosâ
Little, I do but little, I donât,
Like the drip drops of the rain on the roof top.
The impulse to reminisce that very day,
The ragged look that cheapened the cityâs array
That uncut beard & unfixed dark brown hair
And the masculine physique who caused a sudden irregular heartbeat
Took me by the hand, hid me & himself betwixt two skyscrapers
Introduced his house, the palace of garbage dumps
Little, I do but little, I donât
Like the sound of the cars that pass by.
That afternoon he took me under rotten plywood
Commanded to listen to everything thatâs around.
The roar of these engines he call his alarm clock,
The shriek of the wheel scrapes was his rooster.
Little, I do but little, I donât
Like the dark clouds that divides the sweet periwinkle ones.
The love-deprived pointed the division
Compared it to a personâs character depth, good & bad
Added even, negatives occur through positive reasons.
The broken smiles adorn his face, sprinkled with innocence,
That overawed a lady next to him.
Little, I do but little, I donât
Like the nuisance of police sirens with its red & blue flickering lights.
The rain stopped, the frantic actions commenced,
Told me to believe on what he said,
Portended, âAmnât permitted to fall but I might,
Neither in black holes nor traps in the night,
But in the charm of your eyes of delight,
Myself I will jeopardize to break one rule & fight,
I apt to discern whatâs good & right,
Though for now, Iâll go to flight.â
Little, I do but little, I donât
Like the royal blue uniform that enrapture my eyes, stood in front of me.
The sudden ask with a drawn sketch of the lovelorn,
Said the old man in blue, âRobbed the bank on last nightâs grim
That him with a bad scheme.â
Little, I do but little, I donât
Like the flow of rivers as my tear did last spring.
There was I, unlocked a beauty behind an illegitimate.
He who shared a thought to ponder,
He who enthralled my discreet soul,
Little, I do but little, I donât,
Love that guy behind bars.
