I got this hoodie years ago, when I was a freshman in High school. Which was over 10 years ago OH MY G-.

This hoodie is no longer available, as y’know, 10 years have passed…AAAAAAAAA-

A bit about this hoodie:

I got it because the proceeds went to charity! Which one? I do not remember! I think it was a cancer research charity like St Jude’s?

When it arrived, I had gotten super sick, like possibly had the flu, sick! Just before Spring Break!

My stepmom had it in the car when she picked me up from school and I wore it on the way home. This hoodie was with me while I was sick, and I wore it every day and night during my illness. Though, three years ago when hospitalized & nearly dying, I couldn’t wear it due to the IV tubes (that’s a longer story.)

When I get sick sometimes, I’ll wear it, because it brings me that much comfort. It’s the oldest thing I own, and one of the few items I will never get rid of! It’s been with me through several moves (like, five?), and was a favorite at work during my first job in 2018, and with friends!

The hoodie itself is very comfortable! It’s just now starting to have threads pop, (I think? Last I checked they popped around 2022?) and the logo has little to no fading. It’s definitely on the thinner side, but for a Floridian, it’s not too much of an issue. The tassels are different lengths, and one has a loose thread, but none of that bothers me :)

It’s my absolute favorite article of clothing I own, it sparks so much joy!

Funny story involving this hoodie;

In my freshman year theater class, we had a guest come in to teach us improv. The guest had us do an exercise where we had to add ingredients to a fake burger, and list all items on it, I added in the Warfstache, as I was wearing the hoodie and it was all I could think of! Everyone was so confused, and I felt a little embarrassed explaining, but had fun as people giggled and laughed!

Overall, this hoodie is absolutely my favorite clothing item, and I’m glad I could talk about it finally, without feeling embarrassed or anxious.

Note: this is it hanging in my closet, and no, I’m not kidding it’s the OLD logo.
