hello tumblr. did u see the post on tumblr . gov (The House The Home The Skeleton) of someone talking about an AI plugin that will read books on kindle and "paraphrase" them for the reader? the book the poster sampled was the great gatsby and the paraphrased version was. nightmarish. and nightmarishly Not the great gatsby. i mentioned it to a colleague and they went [with despair] "oh dear god. please send it to me" and i have not been able to find That Specific Product again >.>
so many services that paraphrase books but i thinkk this one was being pitched as fairly unique.
Two things I've learned so far during this particular uni semester;
One; literature analysists and stuff are way, way too obsessive on the idea of gay vampires and sex undertones and shit.
Two; Freud is fucking everywhere and will not leave.
The second one is honestly more annoying because like. If I wanted to talk about Freud I'd've done Psychology, ta, he's not that interesting.
Jill L. Levenson (Romeo and Juliet, Oxford University Press, 2000).
making that post about how emotional i was over reading sir thomas more inspired me to go back to look at some of my annotations. this one just says “oh my gosh i’m sad”. more was so stoic at the end and everyone was grieving so much and i am a big baby | feb. 1st

Lit history aside, “making solemn things gay and gay things solemn” is the most accurate explanation of what slash fanfiction is all about that I’ve ever seen.
Spring Semester - April, 4th
I have this so bored (historical, philosophical, psychological) book to review for my masculinity class. I’m halfway through it, so I can do it. I also, somehow, managed to get some room on my bookshelf to change settings to work (I can’t stand being at my only table anymore).
"I just have no energy to write fiction right now. I wonder what's wrong..." I say. Me, a person who has written eight 5-7 page essays, 10 short response papers, 3 creative historical perspective pieces, and scripted a 12-minute audio essay, all since late January.
