- Sero found this cute little thing one evening. More nervous than a rabbit in a wolf den, walking home quickly from work. Naturally, he had to make sure she made it home safe.
- And while that was the first and last time he saw her, she was on his mind for months after
- He didn’t originally have any interest in an event like this one he was told to attend this year, but he only needed to show up, not participate
- Until he saw such a familiar, timid little rabbit up on stage. Then, suddenly, he finds himself raising his little auction sign. The price that keeps going up and up and up doesn’t register in his ears
- What he does hear, however, is the sound of your little gasp under the sharp bang of the gavel and the auctioneer shouting an enthusiastic “SOLD!”
- He’s not sure what kind of situation you’re in for you to resort to this, but, if things go well, he’ll have you tucked under his arm for the rest of your lives by the end of the evening

So when I asked for feedback, I had a lovely reader give me a list of questions and hopes and it was beautiful. This is just one part of her list, but she wanted some happy, lovey moments between Hye Sung and Hyun Su.
I'm pleased to give these to you, ThumbThump. Just understand you'll pay for them on Tuesday. >.>

IHYV: To Make Love (a list fic!)
1689 words
Four moments between Hyun Su and Hye Sung.
=====
i. "Wake up." Hye Sung twisted her fingers in his shirt and pulled it up so she could tickle his stomach. "Hyun Su, wake up."
"I got in just after sunrise," he mumbled into her hair. "It's Sunday. Let me pretend I have a day off." He was absolutely in love with the way she felt against him. He rushed to be home with her in the mornings so he could just hold her before she went to work.
"I need you to show me how to work the television." She snuggled closer and tucked her head under his chin. "Then you can go back to sleep."
He didn't like that idea. "What could be so important about the television that you prefer it over me?"
She laughed and wiggled enough he was both aroused and able to look at her. Hye Sung was almost giddy as she tugged on his shirt. "There's a special on one of the foreign stations. They're doing highlights from all the baseball games recorded. It's going to last all day. I have snacks on the coffee table and take out scheduled for lunch and dinner and second dinner."
He blinked at her. "I didn't know you liked baseball."
"I'm a secretive and mysterious woman." She tugged again. "Please? Five minutes? Then you can go back to sleep."
He didn't go back to sleep. He found her channel and sat down with her on the couch. An hour later he grabbed a blanket so he could just lay down and watch her. She spent the entire Sunday with her eyes glued to his large television screen. Hye Sung really did love her baseball.
ii. "I'm sorry!" Hye Sung rushed out the revolving door and ran to the curb where Hyun Su waited for her. "Court ran late. Do Yeon is worse as a judge, I swear that girl takes cruel delight in reminding me of every single footnote to the law."
She enjoyed his smile as he bent and kissed her cheek. "I will forgive you this once. Already Judge Seo Do Yeon is a credit to her father."
Hye Sung made a face and shook her head. "Don't tell either of them that. The asshat doesn't deserve to feel any fatherly pride for her. She did it all on her own."
Hyun Su laughed and opened the car door. "I do enjoy watching you go from angrily irritated to aggressively protective in less than five seconds."
"It's one of my many charms." She snuck a kiss in before she had to get inside the sleek, black vehicle. He followed her and she tilted her head as she buckled herself in. "Why are you dressed like that. I've never seen you in jeans before."
He looked so very ordinary.
"I spent the day at one of my orphanages repairing the gym." He had his hand in her hair, pulling at her pins before he bothered with his seatbelt. "The snow we got a few weeks ago collapsed the roof and damaged the inside. I had the older boys work with the construction crew and oversaw the bulk of it."
Hye Sung blinked at him and then started smiling. "How many photographers?"
He rolled his eyes at her tease but looked triumphant as he removed the last of her pins. She enjoyed the feeling of his hands in her hair. She put her hand on his leg and decided she liked his suits better. Hyun Su didn't need to look rugged to be handsome.
"Only a few. Jin-Ie insists. She says it's insurance against the future."
"Hm." She scooted over and laid her head on his shoulder. "You should take me with you, next time."
"I'm pleased, even if I don't know why." He kissed the top of her head and she lightly squeezed his knee.
"For insurance."
iii. Hyun Su was used to coming home to find Hye Sung sprawled out over his dining room table or living room pouring over one of her cases. He had his doorman call him every night when she got in, just to alleviate his anxiety. Having a public girlfriend was outside of his experience. Everyone knew who she was and her safety was always on his mind.
Tonight he came home and found a very different scene. He knew she was home but he didn't immediately see her. After a minute he figured she was in the bathroom and decided to leave her be. He went into their bedroom and was surprised to find the bathroom door open and Hye Sung on her hands and knees scrubbing the baseboards.
"I have people for that." He frowned and caught her arm. He pulled her to her feet and wrinkled his nose. She smelled like cleaning chemicals. For a moment he was distracted by her clothing. She wore a very expensive dress shirt that belonged to him and nothing else.
"I'm upset," she said frankly. "I clean when I'm upset. Let go. I'm almost done."
Hyun Su frowned and took away her sponge. He let go of her arm to gently cup her face. "Why are you upset?"
She shook her head and to his horror began to cry. "I can't talk to you about it."
"Hye Sung--" He meant to coax her unhappiness out of her but she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in his neck. Hyun Su dropped the sponge and held her close while she cried.
"Hye Sung," he tried again. He needed her to tell him if only so he could prove to her how much he valued her feelings. He needed to show her he wouldn't make the same mistake with her that he did with Ji Na. "Please tell me what is bothering you."
He thought she would refuse to answer again but she clenched her hands in the small of his back and pressed even closer. "I hate your job. I hate that you grew up in a world without love. I hate that you don't want children. I very much hate Jin-Ie."
Hyun Su was grateful she couldn't see his face. He closed his eyes shut and tried not to taste the bile that burned his throat at the mention of having his own children. He hadn't understood why Ji Na wanted them badly enough to have a nervous breakdown when she found out she'd been sterilized.
"I'm sorry," he murmured into her hair. "I would be a bad father."
"That's a lie. I've seen you with your orphans. I understand why you're afraid. I just wish, when you looked at me, you wanted a real family."
Hyun Su tried to breathe like this wasn't the second worst conversations in his life. "I'm sorry. I don't want children." She didn't reply and he didn't push for an answer. He would spend the rest of his life making sure she didn't hate this part of him. In time, she would see that children were a bad idea. "Is that why you're angry with Jin-Ie?"
"No," she growled. "That is a completely different problem." She let go and pushed against his hips to get him to release her. He didn't want to because the look in her eyes would be horrible. He let her pull away and she wrinkled her nose. "I ruined two of your shirts."
"They're just shirts," he said lamely. "I love you. Please remember that."
"I do." She wiped her eyes on her sleeve. "I know it. I just want...Where were you ten years ago?" Her mood abruptly changed and she smacked him on the shoulder. He blinked down at her as she rolled her eyes.
"Ten years ago I was an awkward boy just coming into my kingdom. I didn't have time for women." He felt sheepish and silly as she laughed. To his surprise, she rose up and kissed him.
"You would've made time for me." Her words were whispered against his mouth and felt like an abandoned promise. She kissed him again and then pushed him out of the bathroom. "I need to shower. Pick something for me to wear and we'll go out to dinner."
iv. Hye Sung felt very smug. Hyun Su stared up at the ceiling, his eyes glassy while his throat worked to find words. She didn't hide how pleased she was with the outcome.
"What the hell was that?" he demanded while she crawled over him. She straddled his hips and braced herself above him.
"That was making love," she teased. She bent down and kissed him as sweetly as she could. "It's what happens when you look into your lover's eyes and they share more than just flesh."
"You're being melodramatic." There was still that whisper of awe in his words that just made her grin. "We've made love before."
"No." She was going to stick by her point for this one. She teased her lips along his jaw and enjoyed the way he swallowed as he wrapped his arms around her again. "That was still just sex. Soft and sweet and slow, but still just sex. It is more important than any other activity we could possibly do together."
"Because you love me now." He rolled her over onto her back and created enough space so he could look down at her.
"You doubt me?" She enjoyed linking her legs around his waist. "I say it plenty."
"I need it." He sounded so...lost and her heart ached for him. "If I'm to survive this current attack. I need it."
She tried not to cry but her eyes went wet. "Is it starting?"
Hyun Su bent his forehead to her shoulder and she ran her fingers through his hair. "Yes. I have a few weeks. Maybe less."
"Then hold onto me again." She took his hand and intertwined their fingers. She nudged his head up so she could look into his eyes. "I love you, Kim Hyun Su."
