I really do hope that we somehow circle back to all the characters you've met and talked to on the road later. I don't like this whole "building up a relationship with a character" only for it to be like "ah it didn't matter in the end cause we never see or hear from them again!" Maybe have all the characters you've interacted with come together and like defend and help you if/when the police catches up. Cause right now it's just....running in to all of these interesting people and it's fun for the moment but then they're hardly mentioned or thought about later other than one fleeting comment and it just feels kind of weak? But maybe that's just being realistic...reflective of how real life works, and how if you are a traveller (or in this case a fugitive) you will meet a lot of interesting ppl that you then never hear from again. I would just be so so disappointed if we never saw Brody, Chris, the pot farmers and like the grandparents again. And even if he is a god awful human, brett? Like so far what I've picked up on is that it was Esteban and the police officer who died, they never mentioned anything about a teenager /young adult being killed. And in one article they mentioned a close eyewitness and i feel like that could be him. So if he is alive I feel like we should see him again. And maybe the stampers? Again, awful humans but I feel like there should be more severe consequences to stealing the camp gear and kicking Hank in the face than just "Daniel will learn stealing is okay!" But on the other hand, I haven't felt like there were any dire consequences to not stealing the camp gear? Like at no point(that I've noticed at least) does Sean say to himself like "ah fuck i should've stolen it!"(but like out of necessity and not pettiness) Like at no point do I experience regret for not taking it, you know? But maybe I'm just stupid and missed something idk.
Im sorry this started as a post about one thing and ended up being a mess of thoughts I just have a lot of feelings!!!!!!
