tonight I pulled up in the Trigg beach carpark, car facing the ocean and the uninterrupted open sky. I laid facing up on the bonnet of my car and watched the stars. I thought of all the things that made me happy this week, all the things I am appreciative of. As I thought about how happy I am that my friend is celebrating being off medication of no longer fighting their mental health battle, I began to cry tears of joy and I meteor lit up the sky.
