Y’know I talked about replaying Superstar Saga again before but can I just say how absolutely happy it makes me
Like oh, having a bad day? Pshhh! Distract yourself with the wonderful world of beans.
Doesn’t matter how stressed I am, it just makes me smile and forget about everything for a while. Like dang who cares if there’s a big test coming up or I’m just feeling crummy, I gotta get Mario and Luigi to level 33 to fight Jojora’s Friend and figure out how to use advanced bros moves.
Plus I mean, I can’t not talk about the comedy. It was written so well and it’s hard not to appreciate it. Considering the entire kingdom’s culture is based around jokes, it’s no wonder the game’s so witty and legitimately funny.
Peasley too is just a character I can’t ever forget. He may be my favorite, so sure, I have some bias, but he’s just so incredibly memorable to me. His dialogue is just such a treat and really brings me a smile.
Every time I pick this game up I’m heavily reminded as to why it’s my favorite. Honestly can’t wait to finish this playthrough and start again
