Linux people please help!
I have a mounted drive and when I delete something from that, it does not show in the trash. I would like it to show in the trash to save me from accidentally deleting stuff. How do I make it so?

Hello, Linux tumblr! I made the switch to Mint about a week ago, and as it stands I'm enjoying it so far, but struggling a little with the transition. I have a Wacom Intuos (CTL-4100WL) that I've had for a few years and really enjoy, but I've been reluctant to try and switch my tablet and art program and have to relearn everything from scratch. As it stands, I've got FireAlpaca running through Bottles, and while the computer recognizes the tablet and lets me use that no problem, it isn't recognizing any pen pressure, nor letting me change up my express key settings. I am not technologically inclined (installing Mint was the most tech-y thing I've ever done), and I'm not sure if it just isn't possible or I simply can't figure it out. Any advice would be appreciated! I tried making sure I had libwacom installed and in the Bottle, but I may have messed this part up admittedly. If I have to make the switch and abandon the tablet or art program, I can, but I'd prefer not to if possible

Update: I have managed to configure the buttons within the Graphics Tablet app, and THAT shows my pen sensitivity is working, but FireAlpaca itself doesn't recognize it. I'll keep poking and see what I can figure out

Besties...I am considering switching my OS on new computer to Mint, BUT I'm not sure about pulling the trigger. I don't know what the real pros/cons would be (and am nervous about things not working and needing to relearn a new system and also find a new art program). What is the actual upside to switching to a Linux OS? I'm not tech savvy, and I don't know if it'd make a huge difference either way, but wanna sort of make a decision before I get much further into the set up process if I'm gonna be making a switch.
My main questions:
1. Will all my files still transfer, or are they all gonna be incompatible with a different system?
2. How difficult is it to set up, and what's the main BENEFIT of switching to Linux?
3. Will things like Firefox and things in browser all still work, or is that something I'm gonna have to change also?
I am not tech savvy at all, please understand that you have to talk to me like I'm 5 and my level of know-how is "turn it off and then it back on again"
Anyone have any book or video / podcast recommandation to learn about linux ? Thanks in advance ! :))

ive been wanting to switch back to Artix-OpenRC, but the one thing keeping me from switching back is the fact that Artix doesn't have a NordVPN package. I know theres an AUR package, but obviously, that doesnt work with OpenRC. so i was wondering if there was a way to convert the Systemd services that NordVPN uses into OpenRC services? i mean i know there is - i just dont know how to. so like. help? please?
