Link teaches Samus how to dance. Court style. Classical style. The waltz and all that good stuff.

Samus is a particularly big fan of the stealth suit. Good cotton beats space spandex anyday.

Samus can make food out of things Link could never dream of. Those being monster parts and have them still come out as not bad.

Having said that...

She’s absolutely useless with normal ingredients. Ironically, her monster meals are less likely to kill you than her bread recipe

Or her boiled water

Samus is magical with animals. In as much as Link is!

Samus’s fighting style is more refined than Link’s. She’s about as strong (I’m assuming) as Link but...

Link has the durability of 12 gauge steel holy shit

This can be meant in 2 ways

Interest wise, they honestly don’t have a ton in common!

Link enjoys a cooking. Equestrianism. He also has a not so pasing enjoyment of curating his personal collection and history

I have nothing to back this up except his weapon and shield mounts in his home

Samus, on the other hand, enjoys rigorous study mixed with exploration. She’s a very active learner and (this is just my hc for her so fair warning) enjoys learning about and then going to said places

She spent like a week in Gerudo town

And made friends!

Link is still not invited

Jumping off that last point! Link and Samus enjoy a lot in the way of comfortable silence

A day can go by when neither of them say anything. He’ll lay on her lap while she plays with his hair as a tick while reading

A lot of days they can just go on and express simple gestures

Nods. Laughter. A grimace. A smile.

Samus doesn’t talk much and Link is quiet by nature himself.

Between the two of them because of this, it can seem from the outset that the two have a very simple language all to themselves.

Link is a more experienced partner, which is weird because he’s a few years younger

This creates a really interesting dynamic starting out because needing to rely on a younger member of the relationship for how they work is less common than the reverse

So they went at a snail’s pace early on

Not that either minded!

It created a much greater sense of intimacy between the two

And it speaks volumes about how intimate because of how uncommon in can be for two people who have virtually nothing in common to find themselves in a place where they can be in quite

Where their silence speaks volumes

and where the loving and non sexual intimacy of two chosen ones can fill a room in a way that few relationships can

It’s just

a very good feeling that She’s not used to and Link is and he helps to guide her through it
