GPEARI’s new portal is now available: https://www.gpeari.gov.pt/  I was responsible for its interface and experience design, and was also the main responsible for its development. The portal was built using Liferay – a popular CMS used among entities of Portuguese public administration.

SigaApp celebrates the first year of life!

Launched in August 2016, SigaApp is a mobile application that saves time in Social Security. The user can see the waiting times, take a password and find the nearest service desk.

Application created by Linkare, where I was responsible for UI / UX design. Technologies were used that allowed the simultaneous development of the application for Android and iOS.

The balance of this first year of life is reasonable, but it could be better, for two reasons. The first is that the entities that are presented are scarce, as the application depends on another system where this information is found, needs to be adjusted in order to be shared and thus reinforce the number of entities and services in the application. The second reason is the lack of advertising of this application to the public, something that could be filled with some posters posted in stores and in the citizen's space where the application already operates.

Last July, two projects went into production in which I had the opportunity to participate, the Birth Registration Online and the REVITA Fund.

The Birth Registration Online, is an online form where you can do exactly what the name indicates. I worked on the design of the navigation flow and the structure of the content presented on each page of the form, and was responsible for implementing the existing style guide. Something very interesting because this guide is in a mature state, being composed of a set of templates available on GitHub. The availability on this platform makes it easier to control and evolve, depending on the needs that arise throughout the projects that are part of the new Justice portal.

On July 1, 2017, a service was launched that could revolutionize the lives of the Portuguese: the Online Complaints Book. The classic complaints book, which can be found in any establishment, is now available on the internet.

The project was developed by Linkare, where I was responsible for the design of the interfaces and user experience. It was quite challenging for me and for the whole team given the level of importance and demand of the project, but as is usual at Linkare, the project came to a successful conclusion and on our part it has everything to be a success.
