Tumblr coding is weird (also not helpful)
Tumblr runs some sort of sub-coding that makes coding links in the about section the weirdest and most not useful thing ever (maybe not ever, but certainly the least helpful thing today).
When you post a normal html link, the site adds the address you put in the code onto the end of the address of the page you're on. Here's what I mean:
This is the address of my tumblr: isabeau25.tumblr.com
I have a list of links for tags in the about section. If you click on the first one, this is the address it takes you to: isabeau25.tumblr.com/tagged/Epic-2013. This address is actually entered into the coding for the link as "tagged/Epic-2013," which is the only way it will work at all, because tumblr automatically inserts my tumblr address in front of the code.
At the very least, this link goes where I want it to. But, let's say you're on that Epic tag, and you want to look for art, so you click on the art link in the about section. It takes you to this nonexistent address: isabeau25.tumblr.com/tagged/tagged/Art
I can guarantee, because I've check my coding many times trying to figure this out, this is not the address I put in code. It just gets worse as you keep going. So if from this nonexistent address you click on another link in the about section, you get this: isabeau25.tumblr.com/tagged/tagged/tagged/fanart
And so forth and so on, unless you go back to the main page and start over. All the links work from the main page, but not from anywhere else.
This is both frustrating and stupid. Someone please tell me how to make it stop doing this.
