ugh same at my school. Iām an RA and so im hyper aware of people not knowing what to do. We had a gunman scare about a month ago and teachers were telling their students to leave the classroom in the building where there the suspected gunman was.
Holy crap, that's terrible, and insanely irresponsible on their parts. We (thankfully) haven't had anything that bad, but the building's staff has had their fair share of mishaps.

I think she was just trying to find a way to control the crowd (because there were a shit ton of people there, a lot of whom had wandered in from outside), but it really wasn't helping. It was fucking stupid, honestly, but whatever. The management here doesn't really seem to know what to do in actual times of crisis.
