So I'm making some #writingthermometers choices here. Nano is upon us and there are two projects -- one a past Nano -- that haven't moved for a long time. The pen was steeping into my dry erase wall, so I've decided to repurpose their spots for hopefully some quick turn around guys. Calligrapher2: Initiate is my 2021 nano project (god help me) and Joshua 2 is a writing/art project I'm hoping to finish over winter. A #writingthermometers update. Im getting ready to move house so the wall is gonna get erased soon. As a goal, I'm going to try and finish #linecaster before it is. The 0 sum projects are right out, but every thermometer I can finish before it's gone will be a victory. That said i havent had a lot of time to write bc of all the stressors and deadlines i need to hit. Theres been progress on #evilbook but its within the cyan portion of the wordcount so no visible change. I typically dont like to do #writingthermometers updates too close together, but i wanted to post up my progress on #evilbook since its going very fast. Also #linecaster has been started. Evilbook though, I've decided to reread bc I've had some time away and while I'm rereading i might as well revise it... so even though the blue draft is not done, the cyan draft is started and will overtake the blue draft at some point. A #writingthermometers update! #mirrors has replaced #dogpark3, best of luck to it. Its an adult fantasy series with a focus on short (40-60k) entries in a long contiguous story. Hopefully itll be a good companion to my childrens fantasy series. Speaking of, the #knotcaster revision is complete! I decided against doing the illustration pass in favor of slotting another project in. #linecaster is going to be the last of the Cat centric #threadcaster prequels (i promise) and an exercise in fast drafting im not putting a ton of pressure on. Next on the to do list is to finish #evilbook.
