Something that’s bugged me about things ever since I was introduced to the concept of lineweights 7 years ago. Note that the 3 lineweight types can be differentiated by tone as well, with the darkest, thickest lines being the profile lines closest to the viewer, and the lightest, thinnest being the pattern lines on a background. This is something to keep in mind in all types of lined art, but especcially in vector art. Just make borders thicker, corners medium thickness, and patterns/textures lightest for the best effect.
