Since I was a small child I insisted on making art - forever - while most people told me I was going to fuck up my life because of it. Growing up in the sticks pushed me towards cameras. I instinctually strived to create alternate realities to elevate my situation and ultimately escape it. The funny thing is a camera brought me back when nothing else could.
