Which pjo books correspond to which Taylor swift albums in your opinion
this is so interesting. i think my answers are like predominantly based on vibes, but also i think there are a song or two from each album i picked that really matches it’s respective book. it’s hard to narrow down an entire album to a book because taylor writes about so many things within an album so it’s very broad.
lightning thief: fearless. i think it being the true big start of taylors career (sorry debut love u girl) and tlt being the big start of the series, that just matches up super well. plus i think the concept of wanting to be fearless fits percy so well in this book because he’s just doing his best to put on a brave face and get through this insane quest. i would also say the song change fits this book pretty well
sea of monsters: evermore? this one was honestly the hardest (maybe because this is my least fave book) so i will not lie, it’s mainly the color of the book cover that’s drawing me to this album😭 but i also think certain songs remind me of certain scenes, like willow and evermore make me think of the sirens scenes and cowboy like me can kinda fit circes island imo. idk. it’s mainly the brown cover of the book tho
titans curse: folklore. percy is literally just in his sad girl era with annabeth missing. i feel like there’s a few songs that really fit the vibe, even if they don’t match up perfectly lyrically, but like this is me trying, peace, maybe even betty. there’s like a few lyrics from each of those that i feel match up with how percy was feeling in this book, even though i don’t think i can say the same about the songs as a whole. if that makes sense.
battle of the labyrinth: midnights. aside from the obvious that there’s literally a song called labyrinth, i think this is a very vulnerable album of taylor trying to figure herself out and there’s so many ups and downs to the album which feels fitting for them going through this labyrinth that messes with their minds and they’re also just trying to figure shit out. you’re on your own kid seems kinda fitting for this book too but i could fit that song with like any of the books, it’s just so percy jackson coded.
last olympian: speak now. i mean.. have you heard long live? the energy of that album just feels so fitting for this book idk. i would also argue for reputation just because you know, best book, best album. they just reign superior.
