On Deep Space Nine, the Promenade functions similarly to Bajor’s Jalanda Forum.
It’s a public space in an urban area. Many people walk through it on their way to other places, but it’s also a gathering place for little shops and carts selling food and trinkets and lamp oil and such. Musicians sometimes play there. Public speakers and Vedeks do their work there, too. A directory lists the places to be found on the Promenade, similar to the Jalanda Forum’s list of upcoming public events. People stop in and chat. All that Deep Space Nine’s Promenade is missing of the Jalanda Forum is some shady trees and more Bajoran-style architecture, and, of course, the Jalanda Forum’s famous Moba fountains.
A random character that I made, reference art + random image in the background??
Yeah so, with AU 4, it’s not really backrooms themed but Liminal space themed. I just call it Liminal Areas. So this is the first character of the many random “characters” I will make. (They’ll more of all be like things to shove into an image, dear god I never shut up)
This character definitely does not show my own problems with hoarding random stuff
