I don’t wanna do any big reveals just yet, not just because it’s not going to be what people wanted but because its going to be a very different sort of adventure. Don’t wanna build hype for what is a really niche market. 

BOONEQUEST was using a popular character and a bunch of popular characters and team juggling. It was relationships and hugs and cool powers.

The next quest is going to be more combat, trait and resource based. The puzzles will be more like actual and have less pop culture references (though there will still be some obviously). Instead of established Ragged Edges characters, there will be only one team member throughout the game and it’s no one we’ve met before.

The next quest will reward thorough exploration , multiple paths and backtracking (if people want to). Because of that, unlike Boonequest, all of the art assets (that I can predict) are going to be drawn in advance. This means that once it starts, there should be sessions with comparative frequency. Everything will be planned out.

There is going to be occasional teasers on patreon, but obviously the bulk of the quest will be on the 4chan quest board, with any cutscene comics being here on tumblr and on deviant art.

Sorry for the rambling answer. I still feel really bad for CUDDLESQUEST not being next even though it got easily the most votes.

It is my hope that a small, but perhaps enthusiastic group will still enjoy the next quest.
