Omg. The reason neurotypicals can break social rules w/o it standing out but neurodivergents can't, and it feels like all neurotypicals know the rules but can't really communicate them is because the rules don't exist. That's just how their brains work. In the same way that people with related or similar neurodivergencies gravitate toward each other and jive so well. Because our brains work similarly and/or well together. It's not like a secret knowledge or an inability to learn or pick up on what are seen as basic rules or obvious experiences. It's just an artifact of our brains working differently that has been exacerbated by the current systems.
